ACT (Monthly Monitoring)
Catch them in the ACT.
While pre-hire criminal background checks can serve as an effective tool to mitigate the risk of workplace crime, the screening practice falls short of identifying the criminal misconduct of employees once they are hired.
ACT is a recurring criminal records search that enables organizations to stay abreast of criminal activity by active employees.
ACT regularly scans “nationwide” criminal databases and sends a notification when the criminal records search returns a new or modified hit for employees on the subscription list.
ACT searches criminal records from automated data sources including, but not limited to:
- Proprietary Offender Data
- Department of Corrections
- Administrative Office of the Courts
- Department of Public Safety
- Terrorists and Fugitive watch lists
- Sex Offender Registry
